We just had week two at the Faith Covenant Church building with SHOP. Absolutely loving it thus far! I love playing with a band behind me again, it makes things not only easier, but so much more enjoyable. Things are not perfect, there are still a few sound issues and the kids area is downstairs (which isn't the greatest for prayer room integration of our kids), but it is definitely a the best place we have been in thus far.
One big problem is that I caught myself a few times almost getting comfortable. As much as I enjoy it here, this is not our permanent home; we do not have a daily existence. I understand that things are going to shift for us again soon and I can’t fall into a feeling of idleness in searching, praying and seeking out the Lord for our home.
In other news the brief time I had at the True North conference was a good experience. The prophetic word given to me was encouraging and gave me renewed vision for my life. Playing The Burn at Calvary Temple was fun, simply because the Lord was present and I love playing guitar with my good friend Joel. It was loud and it was good to see people from all streams connecting with the Lord as we simply worshipped as we would in our House of Prayer context.
Looking forward with anticipation of the weeks to come!
