DVD Review: Least Among You

This was a story about a black student trying to integrate into an all-white seminary while trying to serve out a probation period.  In the end we find that his life is changed and the society around him changes. In the end we see a social change in a Christian environment that is ultimately accomplished by the truth of the gospel.
I enjoy movies that are based on true stories and especially when it has to do with God. Naturally, I was drawn to watch this movie.  I would describe the movie as a mixture between "Remember the Titans" and the reformation we find in the movie "Luther". It is a feel good story that will leave you happy yet at times I found the movie a little slow paced and choppy in it's direction. The acting was very good for a strait to DVD movie and was convincing overall. Although I could not see myself watching this movie over and over, it would be a good movie to show to a church group.
My favorite parts of the movie were the times that scripture was declared to prove a point in the theological discussions. I felt the truth and the power of the gospel touching my heart and I was able to feel faith arise within me. The overall message: that life is more productive when it's under the divine guidance of the creator.
