I love reading about Godly men and women from our past. You will find me writing about them frequently. They have given us a gift in their stories and writings that continue to stir hearts to this day. This one even has a Canadian connection where he lived in Nova Scotia .This man has alegacy inscribed on a tablet behind a pulpit that was preached on by John Geddie in a church in the South Seas. Every time I read this it gives me the shivers.
"When he landed in 1848 there were no Christians here; when he left in 1872 there were no heathen."
